Highland Apparel aimed to introduce a new skatewear collection that would inspire community and channel the vibrant energy of skate culture into neighborhoods everywhere. The collection featured a straightforward yet iconic wordmark, which was prominently displayed across a variety of clothing and merchandise. This design approach was intended to capture the essence of skateboarding and create a strong, recognizable brand identity that resonates with skate enthusiasts.
To effectively spread the word and establish the Highland Apparel brand, digital platforms played a crucial role. Leveraging social media, online marketing, and digital campaigns, the brand was able to reach a wider audience and engage with the skate community on a deeper level. This digital strategy not only amplified the collection’s visibility but also helped build a compelling and dynamic presence for Highland Apparel in the skatewear market.
Objective
The objective was to craft a distinctive brand that truly captures the essence of skatewear while also cultivating a vibrant and inclusive community. To achieve this, we focused on blending fashion-forward designs with memorable, viral moments across a range of digital platforms.

Execution
Developing a compelling brand identity involves a detailed multi-step process. The journey begins with brainstorming and refining the logo concept to achieve a simple yet visually striking design. Once the logo is finalized, the next step is to gather lifestyle imagery that embodies the brand’s ethos and resonates with the target audience.
With both the logo and imagery in place, we then create cohesive compositions tailored for various applications, including social media, print materials, and apparel.
